The Heroes Save The Dog, Pick Up Soccer, $8!!!

Hey what's good everyone!?!?!  I'll tell you what's good... Mexican food!!  On Saturday, we had an Elders Quorum activity. First we dusted the church a little bit, then we played some soccer, then we ate food! We had Carne asada, these thick sausage things, of course Tortillas and salsa, ya and some salad! Wow, let me tell ya it was GGGGOOOOODDDD food!! Speaking of food, our branch has been struggling to set up member dinners for the missionaries. So we take matters in to our own hands and hit up some of my member friends that I've known for almost a year now in Santa Maria. So last night we went to this Hermanas house. Dang, she had classic rice and beans, this really good casserole thing, and Izzis! Like what in the world! I haven't seen one of those for 2 years! It feels weird to say "almost 2 years".  So the other day we were out street contacting. Every Latino does yard sales on Saturday mornings and afternoons here in Santa Maria. So like every block...

The Rogue Missionary, Para Aquí Para Allá, La Pasqua!

What's up  everyone! I hope you are all doing well and that you all had an awesome Easter!  So our mission has been selling all of the Rav 4s and buying new Nissan Rogues. We actually got ours 2 weeks ago at MLC, but most of the missionaries got theirs this week at zone conference. There are things I like about the Rogue, but I also miss my Rav. When I got to the mission, it was Toyota Corollas, Ravs, and Tocomas. Now It's Chevrolet Equinox, Nissan Rogues, and Nissan Frontiers.  We had a lot of exchanges this week. They were fun! Exchanges are fun! I like to see how other Elders teach and contact.  So back last transfer, we were out street contacting and Elder Teichert points to a house and SAS we got bashed there. Well I wasn't really paying attention to which house it was. So The other day I had an exchange in my area with Elder Larsen. We went to that house. And low and behold, we got bashed. BASHERS are dumb. They have no idea what they are talking abou...

Well That Sucks!

Well I just spent like and hour typing out this realy good email to someone and I think it got deleted, so this will probably be a shorter weekly cuz I kinda hate Gmail right now.  So let me tell you something. Everyone is a child of God, but when it comes to BASHERS, I have no patience.. None, ZERO! They make me livid! Get this. So the other day, we were driving out of a neighborhood. This dude on the other side of the road rolls down his window. So we roll down ours. He asks if we speak Spanish. We said yes. He asks what church we are from. We tell him The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He asks what latter days. We kinda explain. He asks if we can pull over and talk, so we do. He proceeds to bash us and tell us we're wrong and we don't know the Bible. Litterally, Elder Teichert read the verse right after the one he used to bash us and it disapproved what he said. Just read the whole Bible people, don't take thing out of context.  We helped at an Easter activ...

What Was His Name Again? GO ON A MISSION!

WHAT IS GOING ON EVERYONE! Si were gunna start with a story to explain the first part.  So yesterday we were going to a lesson. We get out of our car and start talking to this dude who was just hanging out outside his house. He was cool. We talked to him for a sec outside. He invited us in to talk a bit. We tried to teach him a bit, but mostly we just talked. Well kind of at the end of our chat we asked him if he had anything to eat. He said (all in SPA BTW) "You guys cook right?" We said yes. He got out some Tortillas and we made quesadillas. Well at one point he went to go grab something. He had two open Bud Lights on the kitchen table. I quickly dumped one in the sink, and Elder Teichert refilled it with water. I went to dump the other when he was coming back. Well I accidentally spilled it. Luckily it was on hard wood and the dude was really cool and chill. Well we finally leave after probably like more than an hour. We got to the car and Elder Teichert asked "what w...
