Hello everyone! I hope all of you are well!  I feel like a lot happened this week. First let's start with the title.  We meet a lot of Catholics out here. Especially in Spanish work. There's a lot of them! Some are more Catholic than others. For example. We talked to this one dude on his driveway. He was very stubborn. He said that he won't even consider another book besides the Bible. He said he doesn't ever read the Bible but if it's not the Bible he won't believe it. So basicly he believes in the Bible and the Catholic church but has never read the Bible and doesn't go to church. Here's the lesson in this. Don't judge something just on what you have heard about it from the internet or wherever. Give it a fair chance. We were talking about the Book of Mormon. Hello everyone. Here's to another week down!  So on Tuesday we had transfers. Elder Palmer left to SLO and I stayed in Santa Maria. Elder Robles came up. He is cool. He has been out 20 months! He's old.  We got a rental car cuz our car needed to be taken in to the auto body shop for some repairs. So we got our rental car on Tuesday but our apointment to take our other car into the shop wasn't till Monday (Today). So we parked our car at the church and decided to use the rental car the whole week because we are limited on how many miles we can use so might as well use the rental car instead of our car. So we brought our car in to the shop today and they will have it for however long to do repairs.  So the other day we went to Wienerschnitzel. It was my first time getting it. It was not bad. Hello all of my favorite people! Another week bites the dust!  Well first off let's explain this probably too long title. "Still here", So transfers are this week. I am staying here in Santa Maria! Crazy huh! Let's just step back and look at this a sec, I've been a missionary for a year (that still seems weird). First 5 transfers in Thousand Oaks (7 1/2 months). By the end of this transfer I will have been in Santa Maria for 4 transfers (6 months). That's 2 areas in about 14 months! I'm getting a new comp named Elder Robles. I've never met him but I've heard good things about him. He will be my second native companion. I'm pretty sure there are only two or 3 natives in the mission. "ID?" So we went with a member and Eloy and Maria to the city office in SM. They said that Eloy and Maria need to go to Oxnard to get a updated ID in order to buy a marriage lisence. This ment they couldn't get married and no baptizm on Saturday. :( So ...

What is going on everyone!  Well let's see what happened this week.  OK so we started teaching some new people. That's exciting! We'll see if any of them progress. So as for our top people. Do you remember me talking about Gerardo. Well he went to Santa Rosa for a month or more or I don't know to work. He hasn't answered his phone or anything so we're not sure what's going on with. Eloy is scheduled to get married tomorrow or Wednesday and baptized on Saturday. Pedro is currently praying about baptism. So I hit one year the other day. That's cool. Honestly this year has gone by so fast! We burned a shirt at a member's house. That was fun! My parents sent me a brownie mix so I tried to make them. Well, our oven is kinda weird and they sat for a while so ate Rick's that night. Not that bad. I made some more guac with two fresh avocados from a member. He gave us so much random food this week.
