Transfers, Rental Car, Wienerschnitzel
Hello everyone. Here's to another week down!
So on Tuesday we had transfers. Elder Palmer left to SLO and I stayed in Santa Maria. Elder Robles came up. He is cool. He has been out 20 months! He's old.
We got a rental car cuz our car needed to be taken in to the auto body shop for some repairs. So we got our rental car on Tuesday but our apointment to take our other car into the shop wasn't till Monday (Today). So we parked our car at the church and decided to use the rental car the whole week because we are limited on how many miles we can use so might as well use the rental car instead of our car. So we brought our car in to the shop today and they will have it for however long to do repairs.
So the other day we went to Wienerschnitzel. It was my first time getting it. It was not bad. Elder Robles didn't have his wallet. I was fine to pay. Well he eats a lot so it was a little expensive. I didn't realize it was cash only until after we ordered. I had some cash and I thought I could get it. Well I thought. The cashier was so nice. She said "we'll make it work". I don't know if she paid the rest out of her pocket or what, but I'm telling you, tender mercies are out there. Like I said the food was good ish but I would have to think about going again. They do have a froot loop shake which is really good.
We had interviews on Friday. They went well! We're going to food bank again! That's fun! The lady who runs it on Friday is a member. She was playing a bunch of classic 80s songs on her speaker. It was awesome! We had sports night that night. That's always fun!
We usually have district council on Fridays but because of interviews we had it on Saturday. It was really good!
We had a lot of potential to start teaching a few new people but most all of them fell through. We started teaching Eloy's wife. That's exciting. Maybe we can baptize them together if we can ever figure out this getting them an ID and a Marriage license thing. We worked on that a little more this week but to no avail. All the offices were closed all weekend. We did start teaching someone named Rosa. Her son is sick with the virus. They could use a prayer. Our first contact with her, was a week or so ago when I was with Elder Palmer. She didn't seem interested. She then told us to pray for her son. We offered to say a prayer together. So we got in to the house, said a prayer, and set up a time to come back. So yesterday was that return apt.
We ended up driving around a lot more than normal this week, trying to find people with wrong addresses, getting lost, etc.
We had some good lessons with our progressing people. They are all cool. Two of them didn't come to church because their cat ran away.
Our branch president had all the missionaries in our branch over for dessert last night. That was fun!
I think that's about it! I love and miss you all! Thanks for the emails!

Scriptures
Mosiah 5:8-9, 7:33
33 But if ye will turn to the Lord with full purpose of heart, and put your trust in him, and serve him with all diligence of mind, if ye do this, he will, according to his own will and pleasure, deliver you out of bondage.
Its so true. Just trust in Him. He will bless you
