Hey everyone hows it going?  Well a lot happened! Or so it's feels. Also this week felt decently quick but this weekend was brutal! Its also transfer week. Well I have a lot on my mind and I'm not feeling well so this might be kinda short.  This week we have done a fair amount of teaching and finding. On Tuesday I went on a spit with Elder Bradshaw to the Food Bank cuz our comps had a meeting. That was good.  We have two people we are teaching, Pedro and Jerardo. They are progressing and pretty much on the same leval. They are both super cool! Jerardo came to church yesterday and brought his nephew. That was really cool! Pedro has committed to living the word of wisdom.  Something crazy that happened this week aside from the several cop cars we always see around here (Santa Maria always has something happening but we never actually see any crime). Someone we are teaching named Eloy got his car stolen. We invited him to church and he seemed not in a good spot. He...

Hello lovely friends and family,  I hope you are all doing well! We had quiet and crazy week!  OK bad news first. Jennifer is in love with my comp. You wouldn't think investigators flirting with missionaries would be much of a problem for elders but here we are. Basicly my comp can get a married women to flirt with him in another language. So here's the bad news. We called president to ask him what we should do. Obviously she has made so much progress we didnt want to drop her. So President said we could pass her off to the Hermanas. We're like ya that's a good idea. So we call Jennifer to tell her that the Hermanas are going to start coming over instead of us. Basicly Jennifer said "it's better that they don't come over". So she dropped us and all the missionaries. She said she would still come to church but she wasn't there yesterday or on zoom. It was pretty sad because she was so close. Hopefully the future missionaries can help her sometime do...

Hey  everyone! I hope you have all had a splendid week! I sure did! Wow it went so fast though!!!!!!!  So we'll start with this story: We went to a visit with one of our people. He wasn't around but his wife and her sister asked if we wanted to talk to them. You know what Preach My Gospel says "talk to everyone", so we went in to their apartment and had an interesting talk. They weren't super bashy but a little. Lots of questions about us, our beliefs, missions, and especially the Book of Mormon! Just the way they talked to us, a little frustrating. I could write a lot about them but three highlights. 1 They thought I was 14-15 and Elder Sayre was 22. 2 They asked if all missionaries were white Americans like us. 3 Elder Sayre and I were both wearing glasses that day so they asked us if all members of our church have glasses.  We had a zone conference. Hello beautiful people of the Elder Felsted email list! So I don't have tons of time today so we'll make this short and sweet.  We'll start with the title. Someone we are teaching named Rosio is on date for the 22 of this month! That may change to the 15 we are still checking on a few things. I know you are all wondering how Jennifer is doing. She wants to be baptized but she wants to learn to drive first so that she can drive herself to church each week. Very noble cause but we've been trying to help her see that getting baptized is more important than diving. That's why church is on zoom and why we have members that can give her rides. She is just being kinda stubborn right now, also she's not telling us everything. So it's hard with her cuz she wants it and she knows that it's what she needs to do. We're actually thinking of having Rosio come to a visit with Jennifer. We think they could be good friends and Rosio is like Leo back in TO. She is so ...

What is going on everybody!?!? I hope you are all doing well!  So a lot happened this week! I think part of what made this week so fast is that I went on three all day exchanges. One of them was with one of the zone leaders, Elder Frame, in our area. It went well! We started teaching the husband of someone who we met a week or so ago. Elder Frame is cool! I went on an exchange all day with Elder Kelly. It went pretty good. I went into his area which a biking area. That was not bad. You know how me and bikes get along. I like if we are on a flat road and I stand up and just go on momentum. I went on an exchange with Elder Swanson also in his area.  Highlights of the exchanges: When I was with Elder Frame. We dropped of a BOM to a cool lady who wanted one and we started teaching Maria's husband.  With Elder Kelly.
