We Got A Date
Hello beautiful people of the Elder Felsted email list!
So I don't have tons of time today so we'll make this short and sweet.
We'll start with the title. Someone we are teaching named Rosio is on date for the 22 of this month! That may change to the 15 we are still checking on a few things. I know you are all wondering how Jennifer is doing. She wants to be baptized but she wants to learn to drive first so that she can drive herself to church each week. Very noble cause but we've been trying to help her see that getting baptized is more important than diving. That's why church is on zoom and why we have members that can give her rides. She is just being kinda stubborn right now, also she's not telling us everything. So it's hard with her cuz she wants it and she knows that it's what she needs to do. We're actually thinking of having Rosio come to a visit with Jennifer. We think they could be good friends and Rosio is like Leo back in TO. She is so solid!
Ok funny story involving both of them. So the other day we were at a visit with Jennifer. Jennifer said she found these two baby flightless birds about to be eaten by her dogs. So she had these two Lil baby birds. She asked us if we wanted them. She asked us what to do. We're like we have no idea. So while we were talking a thought came to mind. "Rosio has a lot of birds, (she's basicly the bird lady) we could see if she knows what to do". I brought my idea up to Jennifer and Elder Sayre. So that's what we did. We called up Rosio and started explaining the situation. Jennifer and Rosio talked on the phone for a minute. Rosio said she would take them. So Jennifer put these two Lil birds in a box and Elder Sayre and I took them to Rosio. When we got there Rosio was smacking her dog on the butt with a sandle cuz the dog wandered down the street.
Heres the big news. Our mission and the Arcadia Mission got together on Zoom to listen to President Bragg of the 70 and Elder Holland. It was so cool! To listen to a prophet of the Lord, speaking directly to us!! It was so GOOD! I LOVED Elder Hollands message and stories and advice for us.
Another cool thing this week:
President Carter OKed "17 Miracles so Elder Sayre and I watched that during dinner. It is so gooooo!!! It hits hard!
Anyway, lots happened this week but I got to go.
I love and miss you all! Thanks for your emails. Sorry if I don't respond but I do read and love them.
