A LOT!!!
Hey everyone hows it going?
Well a lot happened! Or so it's feels. Also this week felt decently quick but this weekend was brutal! Its also transfer week. Well I have a lot on my mind and I'm not feeling well so this might be kinda short.
This week we have done a fair amount of teaching and finding. On Tuesday I went on a spit with Elder Bradshaw to the Food Bank cuz our comps had a meeting. That was good.
We have two people we are teaching, Pedro and Jerardo. They are progressing and pretty much on the same leval. They are both super cool! Jerardo came to church yesterday and brought his nephew. That was really cool! Pedro has committed to living the word of wisdom.
Something crazy that happened this week aside from the several cop cars we always see around here (Santa Maria always has something happening but we never actually see any crime). Someone we are teaching named Eloy got his car stolen. We invited him to church and he seemed not in a good spot. He also said his head hurt. We went over later last night to see how he was doing. His wife was in the yard. We talked to her for quite a while. She was pretty mad. She was swearing a lot (in Spanish, so it doesn't really hit haha). A car that looked just like Eloy's stolen car was parked on the street by his house. So she wanted to go over and question the guys chilin in the car. So we went with her and ended up checking the registration on this dudes car cuz Eloy's wife can't read. It wasn't Eloy's car.
I'm going to be honest. This has been a very hard week. Mostly just last couple days. We have some people who are not progressing. Areana and Jennifer told us about these other churches they went to this week. We did a lot of street contacting and talked to a lot of very uninterested and kinda rude people. Here's the worst part of the week. I woke up Wednesday morning and my ear was ringing. It's still ringing ever since. It is so hard to concentrate and listen to people especially in Spanish. I have felt very tired this week. Also Elder Sayre is getting transfered out so I'm staying here and leading out the area for my first time. I'm pretty nervous, especially because I can't hear well. If you could all keep my ear in your prayers that would help so much!
I love and miss you all! Thanks for the emails!
