Sorry everyone this email is probably gunna be short.  A lot happened this week.  Members are great! We had a member give us a large box full of granola bars. A member gave us both a $ 20 Wendy's gift card and a bunch of cash, a bunch of chocalate, and a big thing of Skippy. The branch prez and his fam made some BOM food this weekend!  We talked to some cool people on the streets. We put Jenifer on date to be baptized on April 10. Story. One night we went out to go talk to people. We were walking back to our car and it wasn't where we thought it was so basicly we walked around for like 2 hours looking for our car. Buenos días, esta correo va a ser en puro Español. Esta bien?  Nah I'm just joking. Haha I got you.  Anyway, what is going on everyone? I hope you had a great week, I bet mine went faster than yours.  First here is the story behind the title: Yesterday we were walking around talking to people ya know missionary things. We started talking to this guy. This is almost always a thing in California Spanish speaking. Like when you approach them do you go Spanish or English. Cuz we use both and I don't have a good Spanish detector. OK so this dude spoke English. He may as well have been speaking Spanish he was talking so quietly it was hard to get everything. He told us a lot of stuff that one we didn't hear and two didn't make sense or connect. He asked us if we have ever seen 'Poltergeist'. He said that is going on at his house. This week was sooooo slow............... Nah I'm just kidding twas tan rápido! So for those of you keeping track you know that on Tuesday I finally left the land of my inheritance. We drove way up north basicly the other side of the mission to Santa Maria. It was a LONG DRIVE. We'll I'm here in a city called Nipomo. Your probably like "never heard of it" . We'll me neither. You're probably like "it sounds like napalm", yes it does that's the only way I can remember where I live. It's like 10-15 mins from Santa Maria. I love it! My new comp Elder Sayer is AWESOME! He's pretty funny, and thinks everything is hilarious. He's been out 13 months, reassigned from the DR. Remember me talking about Elder Langford/Mayers and hrm Udy who I served around in TO, well they're in my zone here. Good day ladies and gentlemen. Correct, it was another fast week.  Story 1: We were on the street the other day and we went up to this one guy. OK so you know like the sidewalk right? And how it's in between those grass lanes right? You know what I mean? Well you know how sometimes those grass lanes are more dirt than grass? You know what I mean? So this dude is sweeping dirt from those lanes onto the sidewalk and then sweeping it into a dust pan. Your like wait, don't you usually sweep dirt off the sidewalk into those side lane things. Ya that's what I thought. So we tried talking to him. Latinos see me and try to speak English even if they can't. So he's like "uhh I can't" Trying to say he didn't want to talk to us but ya it sounded like I can't speak English. He was a little weird.  So let's talk about the title. What's Goin on. It's your friendly neighborhood ... Oh wait that's Elder Parker's line. So this was a fast week.  Story 1: So we had a visit set up with our friend Eddy. So we go over. His sister says he's sleeping, but let's us in. We'll Eddy looked like he was asleep. He had the Book of Mormon open under his arm so we're like in cool he fell asleep reading. We pulled out the book and it was missing like 3/4 of the book. It looked like he opened the book and sawed down the spine. So lots of thin books. I'll attach a short vid. We were distraught! Like that's bad. Like you don't just rip up a book of Mormon. We're not happy with him. 2: there was like 2-3 birthdays in our district. So one of the members sent a birthday video to one of the elders. I didn't know this before but apparently there's some website you can put a name in and Dony Osmand sings happy birthday to them.
