I See Dead People

Anyway, what is going on everyone? I hope you had a great week, I bet mine went faster than yours.

First here is the story behind the title:

Yesterday we were walking around talking to people ya know missionary things. We started talking to this guy. This is almost always a thing in California Spanish speaking. Like when you approach them do you go Spanish or English. Cuz we use both and I don't have a good Spanish detector. OK so this dude spoke English. He may as well have been speaking Spanish he was talking so quietly it was hard to get everything. He told us a lot of stuff that one we didn't hear and two didn't make sense or connect. He asked us if we have ever seen 'Poltergeist'. He said that is going on at his house. He said he sees demons and dead people. (in my mind) "like 6 sense". He also said that he just stepped out of his car to talk to us and he looked back and his car was gone. (Bro it's right there). I think he was the most insane man I've met. As we got back in our car to leave, we saw him standing in the street just staring at his house or a house IDK. Good stuff.

We were talking to these dudes outside their house. We got talking about the Bible (long story) he asked where we were from in Spanish. I said Utah. He's like "Utah then why don't you speek English?" He spoke some English so kinda a Spanglish convo. He was telling us about the rosary in the Catholic religion. Elder Sayre asked where in the Bible it talks about that. Haha he got super hurt and told us to go away. He said" come back when you know the bible" like bro come give us a call when you know the Bible.

OK honest question. How old do I look?...... Cuz apparently to pretty much all these Latinos here think I look and thought I was somewhere between 8 -15. I have heard that so much this week about how young I look. Someone thought ESayre brought his son. Bruh he's only like 3 in taller and 2 months older than I am. We met some people from Honduras. They were closer. Her 1st guess was 18.

We had interviews this week. I actualy asked President Carter some questions this time. Wow it was cool! I learned some cool and interesting things from President! Like You know how Jesus is referred to as the son of David. OK so we have Abraham right? 12 generations later boom David, yes King David. 12 generations later boom Jesus. So King David started off an amazing dude right? Then some not so amazing things. He was still promised that Jesus would be born in his lineage.

I had my fist full day exchange with the DL. It was really good! We had some amazing visits. Lots of good questions and discusion.

Our people are doing well. One of them was super hung over yesterday so maybe not him, but our people are thinking and praying about baptism.

Ariana is ready to be baptized but she's not married and her "husband is Roman Catholic and very stubborn. Pray for her.
