I'm In
This week was sooooo slow............... Nah I'm just kidding twas tan rápido!
So for those of you keeping track you know that on Tuesday I finally left the land of my inheritance. We drove way up north basicly the other side of the mission to Santa Maria. It was a LONG DRIVE. We'll I'm here in a city called Nipomo. Your probably like "never heard of it" . We'll me neither. You're probably like "it sounds like napalm", yes it does that's the only way I can remember where I live. It's like 10-15 mins from Santa Maria. I love it! My new comp Elder Sayer is AWESOME! He's pretty funny, and thinks everything is hilarious. He's been out 13 months, reassigned from the DR. Remember me talking about Elder Langford/Mayers and hrm Udy who I served around in TO, well they're in my zone here.
Last transfer I went into a laundry mat for the first time, this mourning I used a one for the first time. I'm learning all sorts of things on my mission!
Quick story: we were telling to a guy on the street. He was pretty drunk. He was telling us that he was in jail for 13 years. He said he de decided to change and become better. But he said he still drinks and smokes and I've never heard so many f bombs from one dude in like 15 mins. Well he must have been really really bad before.
Work
--------------
OK so I'm still learning the names of the people we're teaching. Luckily E Sayer has been here for 3 transfers so he knows everyone. We had 2 investigators come to church in person and 3 watch it on zoom. That's awesome. We have a few people who are progressing well. One of them asked if there is a training he needs to do to be baptized. Haha. So our people are thinking and praying about baptism.

Elder Holland wrote a talk on this. It's such a good verse.
Here's the deal laties and gentlemen. This life is hard. I get it. I understand. (Mosiah18:9). Don't give up. With every bad there's good. Opposition in all things. Look for the good, the small things, the little miracles and tender mercies in your lives. Like Elder Uchtdorf says "doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith". Hold to your faith and your standards. Put your confidence in The Lord, and know that he will never leave you.
I love and miss you all so much! Have a great week and again thanks for the emails. I love them.
