That's One Angry Mexican! Here To Stay!

What is going on all of you wonderful spectacular people!!!

We'll start with the title. So the other a weekish ago we talked to this guy on the street. He opened up right away to us and told us he was a drinker. He started crying about how he is so greatfull to be here in America. He said he wants to get closer to God. He seemed kind of genuine but also drunk. He was walking back from the store with a bag of beer cans. So we set up a visit with him. So we went to his house this week. Someone at the house said he didn't live there. So we called him. Then began the yelling and swearing! He was very mad at us. He was yelling and asking how we had his number and why we called him and to not bother him. We asked him if he was drunk, he said no. Pretty much every other word was a Spanish swear word. Long story short, it was a 40 minute phone call! He was obviously very angry, but since this whole thing was in Spanish, we could still understand it all but it was super funny!

So the next thing is that this next transfer I am staying here in Santa Maria again with Elder Teichert! In total this will be my 8th transfer in Santa Maria!

Well, Robert got baptized on Saturday!! He's awesome! We had a really fun lesson with him at the beginning of this week. I was on exchanges with Elder Merrill. We also had the primary president with us. We read the wise man build his house apon a rock story and then had Robert and his friends draw the story. And then the primary president started singing the song. After the visit we were walking to the car and I said to Elder Merrill, "welcome back to primary."

We started teaching this really cool family this week. They have talked to missionaries a little bit ago. And from the first lesson we had,  it sounds like the previous missionaries didn't do the best job at teaching. He said the missionaries in the past told him he couldn't drink coffee because of the caffine. He told them that they drink more caffine with all of the soda they drank. Ya I knew those missionaries and they did drink a lot of soda. So I explained to him that we don't drink coffee for many more reasons than caffine. It actually does not say caffine anywhere in the scriptures. The biggest reason is because God has asked us to not drink coffee. "If ye love me, keep my comandments" (John 14:15) It's so true. We don't know every single reason for every comandments. That's why we have to have faith. "And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." (Alma 32:21)

I made some really good enchilada soup in the crock pot! Probably my best crock pot meal yet! Ya I'm Pretty much a chef.

Well, I've talked your ears off enough.
I love and miss you all!
Here's to 12 more weeks!!
