GOOD MORNING CRUSTY CREW! Not gunna lie, it has been a good week but not a lot very interesting happened. Well I guess I'll tell you about my personal studies. They've been great! So I started the BOM over again like 2 weeks ago or so. It's really good. I've been doing something that President Carter talked about once. He said when your reading, try to find principles in the verses. Cuz you know how sometimes you read for like 20 minutes and your like "what did I just read?". So ya that's been great! That combined with come follow me has been really good. I feel like I'm really getting into it! The scriptures are so good and so powerful! If you are not reading them, start today! It dosnt have to be long. We held a member's chameleon. It actually did change colors according to its background! So a little miracle. There is this lady we are teaching named Ariana. What is going on all of you wonderful spectacular people!!!  We'll start with the title. So the other a weekish ago we talked to this guy on the street. He opened up right away to us and told us he was a drinker. He started crying about how he is so greatfull to be here in America. He said he wants to get closer to God. He seemed kind of genuine but also drunk. He was walking back from the store with a bag of beer cans. So we set up a visit with him. So we went to his house this week. Someone at the house said he didn't live there. So we called him. Then began the yelling and swearing! He was very mad at us. He was yelling and asking how we had his number and why we called him and to not bother him. We asked him if he was drunk, he said no. Pretty much every other word was a Spanish swear word. Long story short, it was a 40 minute phone call! He was obviously very angry, but since this whole thing was in Spanish, we could still understand it all but it was super funny!  S...

I can't believe it's Monday already! Yesterday felt kind of slow, but the rest of this week went really fast!  So on Tuesday we had zone conference in Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara is about an hour away from us. But we had to leave earlier to get a car wash before car inspections. So we had to leave at 7:30 from our apartment. Zone conference was good. We weré sitting there and one of the assistants was like "and now we will have a discussion by Elder Felsted and Elder Teichert". Elder Teichert and I looked at each other. So longer story shorter, we gave a discussion that we did not know we were giving to half the mission! When we broke for lunch we went to the assistants and chastised them for ZERO heads up! I think it turned out OK. It was not to hard of a topic. They had tri tip for us for  lunch!  The next day, we went down to the temple as a mission! We had to meet the bus at the church at 7 AM. So I got up at a 5:30 because I still had to get my stuff together. ...

We got a lot of stuff to talk about so we'll get crackalacking! Monday was crazy because that evening we drove down to Oxnard (about 2 hours) to stay with the assistants. So we had to make a stop in Santa Barbara to pick up a baptism form from the Hermanas. (Santa Barbara is about 1 hour from us on the way to Oxnard). The reason we were picking up the form from the Hermanas is because they start teaching this dude who was gunna get baptized. But this guy's father didn't want him to get baptized. So his father told this guys cousin to pick him up and take him to live in Santa Maria. Well, Jokes on him because there are missionaries in Santa Maria who baptize too, us. So the Hermanas in Santa Barbara told us to get in contact when him and baptize him. We're like we can do that. So the cousin abducted the guy and took him to SM without the Hermanas knowledge.
