TAKE ME HOME!! And Don't Smoke!!!!

OK all you wonderful spectacular people!!!! I hope your week was AMAZING!! Mine was good!

So big news first cuz why not?!?! So I'm getting transferred out of the Nard. I'm going back to Santa Maria!!! Yep, you heard me right! In total of this will be my 7th transfer there. Unfortunately I won't be in the same area in SM because I'll be a ZL there, but same branch. I'm very excited! I can't wait to see some of the members! My comp, Elder Krenkel is going to Lopoc. 

I woke up Tuesday morning with a bad sore throat and I could barely talk. I had a bad cough and I felt pretty drained. Well, that was tough. That was a rough day. Well Wednesday was tough too. Thursday I still felt kinda terrible. We had to make a bunch of calls to our zone, so I was trying to make these phone calls barely being able to talk. Friday, we had Combined District Council and I gave a discussion outside in the wind. I prayed that I would have enough voice to talk over the wind and tell the zone what I wanted to say. Elder Krenkel offered to be my translator just like in bedtime stories if needed. I miraculously was able to give my discussion. But I will say the whole week, trying to talk hurt my throat. So moral of the story. Don't smoke because you lose your normal voice like I did. Elder Krenkel said I sounded like a smoker that day trying to call everyone. Oh and BTW it wasn't covid. Nurse Jones told me to get tested. Last week at our zone activity I yelled a lot so I think thst had something to do with it. 

So as far as the rest of the week goes. We got contact again with Danny. The kid that Elder Oldham and I baptized last transfer. Had a good lesson with him at the beginning of the week with him and his cousin Sebastion who was also taught in the passed. We asked Sebastion if he works want to work towards being Baptized like his cousin. He said yes. So the next lesson we put him on date or rather he sorta put himself on date for March 5th!!! I'm so bummed that Elder Krenkel nor I will be here to finish teaching him and baptize him. Sebastion is the coolest 12 year old ever!! Keep him in your prayers, especially that he can make it to church as he works a lot with his dad. 

Well, yesterday we talked to the funniest drunk dude ever!!! He was insistant thst we ate one of his chochos (grasshoppers, latino snack). He said he wouldn't listen to a message unless we ate one. Now I had eaten one before so I knew it was bad but to crazy disgusting. So after a lot of just kinda messing around with each other, we shared a thought with him and ate a chochos. 

Oh something else interesting. We had this other elder with us for like 2 days because his comp went to his original assignment. 

Well that's all the big stuff.
