READ THE BIBLE!!
So ya like yesterday was a TOUGH day! I was very disappointed that most of our people we're teaching didn't show to church. I was kinda mad at the members and I was just way tired all day. So that night we went to go talk to this guy who talked with missionaries a little bit ago. So we talked to him for a bit on his porch. He was a nice guy but the dude had no idea what he was talking about. Of course he was catholic. So he starts talking about first communion and baptism and stuff. I asked him "where in the Bible does it mention first communion?" He's like "uhh, well I don't really know the Bible but it says it in there." I'm like "no it doesn't". Basically the conversation was him claiming stuff and me saying thats not in the Bible. He didn't even know who John the Baptist was. So moral of the story. If you are planning on on using the Bible or another source to make a point, then you better be familiar with that source.
So this whole getting married thing is giving me stress. The Lazaros still haven't done it. They said they world "platicar bien" (talk good) about it. Well Armando has been working more to cover for hospital bills and Mauricia not being able to work. So contact has not been as good as it used to be. There are 3 ways to get married. And they are all pretty simple. They just need to do it. But obviously we can't do it all for them. They need to be behind it. So for now they'll just keep coming to church and reading the BOM. They'll do it. It's just a matter of time.
So uhh... We met the Holy Ghost the other day. So we got this referral. We set up a lesson with him at the church. He gets out of his bougie car, does a weird dance and tells us he's the Holy Ghost. He was very talkative. He also told us he's homeless. He lives out of his bougie car.
We had a big NERF war as a zone today! It was a blast!
This week went really fast but those are kinda the big things.
I love and miss you all!!
