CODE MARRIAGE!!!

Buenos tardes a todos de mis amigos, amigas, amigazos, y familiares!

So there's something I don't understand. Why not just get married. Let me backup a sec. So there are lots and lots of Latinos who just live together, have been together for years, and have families. My question is, how do you propose? Like "hey wanna live together and have kids, but don't worry we won't get married, no commitment". I don't know honestly. Everybody, let me tell you right now. Marriage is of God. Hebrews 13:4

"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."

Sounds harsh but it's true.

So basically that tangent was because the Lazaro fam needs to get married before they get baptized. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Well, luckily this is a bit easier than the Eloy and Maria situash. 

1: Armando and Mauricia have passports and birth certificates. 

2: We live like 10 minutes from the embassy. 

3: I have a little experience.

So we found out they were not married on Wednesday. So on Thursday, after zone conference we went to the embassy. We walked in, luckily there was no one there. We asked "so what do we need to get married"? She's like "who's getting married, you?" I'm like jaja no". It was funny, the security guard recognized me from last time. She's like "you're from Santa Maria." I just laughed a little. I forgot to tell her I live in Oxnard now. So ya basically all they need now is a doctor's note. Then they can get married. So we're working on that, but they want to do it so that helps.

So we had zone conference on Thursday over zoom. It was still good, but zoom is just not the same as in person. Elder Krenkel and I had a discussion. 

We found a lot of really cool people to teach this week! We found this AWESOME family yesterday! Like they were asking about church, and youth activities, and all the activities at the church.

I was asked to give a short talk in church. I just read some scriptures and talked about the rock/our savior. I'll add the scriptures below.

This morning we went on a hike and got some ice cream with our district and then we went to another district and had a nerf war. 

That's kinda all the bigger stuff this week.
