Spooky Scary Missionaries

How are you all doing? It's good to talk to you all again! I feel like the weeks are such a blur!

Let's start with the elaphant in te room. WE HAD HALLOWEEN! Listen up. I love Halloween! I'm gunna be honest, my Halloween didn't feel as much like Halloween growing up or even compared to last year. It was still Pretty good. On Saturday, our branch and one of the English wards did a combined truck or treat. It was fun! There was lots of good soup and food! The soup reminded me of home. There was a member from the English ward that was convinced that I was not actually a missionary, just a guy with a good costume, haha! Halloween day was good. We just had church and Pretty normal stuff. We did see some people trick or treeting as we were having a lesson in a guy's garage. Anyways, I hope you all had a great Halloween and you all enjoyed the best time of the year!

OK so heres a cool thing. We had a lesson with this new lady named Ana. She opened up right away to us and told us about her son who had passed away. That's our queue to not teach about Joseph Smith and teach about the resurrection and life after death. So we did that. It went decently well. Her son was a member. She had read the Book of Mormon a little bit before. She kept telling us how busy she was so we didn't set up a return appointment until the next week. She's also hard core Apostolic.

So here's an update on our top Friend Higinio. He is good. He needs a stronger testimony of a few things, so that we'll hit hard. We met his wife. She is very Evangelistic. Like the Evangalis church is closed right now but she listens to it on the radio. Like what, what's a radio?! She says its good we're sharing the word with her husband but the whole making a change is not clicking for either of them.

We had this awesome member visit with this couple named Pedro and Karla. Pedro got baptized about a year ago. He taught himself the guitar and now is Ozzy Osborn. He was rocking out to crazy train. It's was AWESOME! He can play basicly anything by ear. He made us smores. But we did them inside because of the fires and dry season. So he used his mini blow torch. They were some good smores.

Oh ya we had Zone conference on Tuesday. That feels sooo long ago. It was really good! They talked a lot about using members in missionary work. It was good.

For district activity today, we just met up in the morning at the "cowgirl Cafe" for breakfast. It was good and fun!

Sorry if this email is really random, but enjoy some pictures!
I love and miss you all lots!!
