I'm Out!

Well, this is the end. We have reached the end of another transfer. This transfer went really fast! I'm kinda shocked!

This week has gone pretty well! We started teaching 6 new people! We started teaching this family of 5. They are so cool and humble! They were all engaged in the lesson and really paid attention to what we were saying. There's another guy named Jose he's cool too.

Our friend Higinio is kinda stale right now. We feel like he is moving backwards.

So the other day we had a lesson with our Fried Ana. We were walking away after the lesson and she calls us. She said the home owner Maria (who lives there as well) was causing her (Ana) of bashing with us and saying we worship Joseph Smith. (Totaly not true, Ana was backing us a ton in our lesson. She said "a lot of people don't understand your religion and beliefs so I want to help them understand'). So Ana asked if we can come back to the house to talk to Maria and clear up some stuff. So we went back to talk to Maria. Maria was not super bashy, more like had a lot of question and was very pushy and forward and a little argumentative. So we did our best to explain Joseph Smith and that WE DO NOT WORSHIP HIM! Also she wasn't sure about the Book of Mormon. Well she gave us a time and day to come back to teach her about Joseph Smith.

My moms birthday was on Thursday, so I got to call her that morning. That was awesome! Elder Wilcox's birthday package finally came that day, so the three of us had a little party that night.

Do you remember Eloy? He got the priesthood on Sunday! It was so cool. The spirit was strong. I felt a little teary. I've seen him come so far. And of course Maria always tells me thanks. I told her that I was being transfered and she just hugged me and sobbed a bunch of words that I didn't get. But I told her I'd stop by for a better goodbye. It was honestly tough. I told some other people bye at church as well. That night for dinner we went to this member named Maria. She said she was expecting to feed 4, so when only 2 of us showed up.. She gave us a massive bowl of soup and some quesadillas. It was way good!!!!  I said goodbye to her as well. It was kinda hard.

So ya sorry if this email is not as good or shorter than others.

I'm getting transfered to Camarillo to be trained as a zone leader. Crazy right! You're like Andrew a zone leader... I know weird. So My comps Elder Burkhart and Elder Wilcox are staying together here in Santa Maria together. But Elder Wilcox had to leave us Sunday afternoon to help with an emergency transfer. So that's why there was only 2 of us at Maria's for dinner.

Anyways, love and miss you all!
