Transfers, A Blessing, And Meetings

Hello everyone! How are you all doing!? Send me an email, I'd love to hear from you!

Well this week was just a little crazy! So as I told you all last week, I'm the district leader and am training and am follow up training. So far it's been alright. I little stressful. Lots of leadership meetings.

My new trainie is cool. His name is Elder Wilcox. He's from Ogden. He did two weeks of home MTC and 4 weeks at the Provo MTC. Kinda interesting. It sounds like that's what they're doing now with these new missionaries. I think it helped him adjust well to the mission. His Spanish is realy good too.

The other day we were going to park on the street in this neighborhood. This dude asked us to move forward a little so he could park in there too. I was still in our car so I couldn't see or hear him, but Elder Burkhart and Wilcox were out on the sidewalk and they all of a sudden told me to drive away "we're not parking here". Again I didn't hear this dude but my comps said he was swearing at us and very mad cuz he wanted that spot to park his trailer. They said he was basicly threatening to hit our car with his truck. Some people.

We had interviews on Friday! Those went well. Again I love President Carter! He and his wife are so cool! They are just so wise and so calm. They have that calming effect, where you just feel peace when your around them.

We started teaching this realy cool guy named Brian this week! He is awesome! We are literally the same age! He's going through a lot right now. Keep him in your prayers. We had lots of awesome member interaction this week. I love the members here! I'm preaty sure they all love me too, haha. We had dinner with a member last night. She made us this soup with chicken and vegetables is it. It was realy good!

Remember Eloy and Maria. So we had some cool visits with them. One visit he we were explaining the priesthood more. He told us about his leg that has been hurting because of the cold. And it has made work harder. So we gave him a blessing. It was realy cool! We also had a visit with them where we basicly just ate a bunch of left over food with them. Haha.

Well, I gotta say I'm still a little frazzled with this new calling, but hopefully it gets better as we go.

That's all I got! Love and miss you all!
