I'm Awake

Well eveyone here we are again. Every time I write one of these I'm like well here we are, what to write. 

Well I'll tell you what I'm gunna write about. I'm going to write about this craazzzy weekend! 

So at the beginning of the week, we started teaching a new guy that we just met on the streets. We also started teaching a guy who lives with an inactive recent convert and his inactive wife. So we have some work to do in that house. 

OK so Thursday night a member had us over to make home made pizza. They were so good! She is a wizzard in the kitchen. Friday was crazy. We had the last district council of the transfer. We went to Panda Friday (a tradition we do, we go to panda Express for  lunch. It's called fortune Friday because the fortune cookies will tell us what is happening with transfers). We then had food bank. That evening we had Eloy and Marias party to celebrate their Marriage and baptism. The branch (the relief society) put it all together. It went really well! It was so fun! I'll put in some pictures. Then we had sports night. 

Saturday we headed out early to go meet a member to pick up someone we are teaching and go to the church to watch conference. The member and Higinio (the guy were teaching) stayed with us at the church all day to watch conference. In between sessions we talked a lot, we did a church tour and had some food. Higinio is realy cool and accepting. The hard part is, he can't drive or doesn't have a phone, but at least he can read. It was a good day. Kinda crazy but good! The Saturday evening session was my favorite! It was so good! I can't wait to go back and watch it in English. 

Sunday, same thing ish. We headed out early to meet a member to pick up another guy were teaching named Margarito who also can't drive. We just watched the morning session with them at the church. That was good! For the afternoon session, we went to the house of this couple we are teaching. It was a really cool experience to watch it in their home with them. The spirit was there. They seemed to like the conference and had good comments and questions. The Husband Alfredo watched a little bit on Saturday on his own! We then had two lessons that fell through. We stopped by one guy who was in the back doing a birthday party for his son. So we got some tacos, horchata and, a picture. It was fun! 

So now the moment you've all been waiting for............. For this next transfer. I am staying here in Santa Maria. Elder Burkhart is staying in Santa Maria. We are staying together. We are becoming a trio with a new missionary. So I'm training a new missionary again while I'm still training Elder Burkharry. Crazy huh! Oh and guess what. I got called to be a district leader. Crazzzzy huh!!! 

Well pretty good week! I hope you are all doing well! I hope you all had a great week and a great conference weekend. I hope you are all enjoying my favorite time of the year. HALLOWEEEEEEEEENN!! Enjoy the awesome fall weather. 

So here is the title explanation. I can't believe that September came and went. So there is a song called "wake me up when September ends" by Green Day. It is REALY GOOD!! There is also that song "September by Earth Wind and Fire. So here is my challenge to all of you. You ready? 

Go on a walk and enjoy the fall weather, set up a Halloween decoration and list to " September" and "Wake me up when September ends" in my honor. And it will remind you of me.
