Getting Legally Married, Meteor Shower, And Guac

Hey hey hey what's going on everybody!!  It's me again. It's crazy I feel like I just did this.


Anyways I'm gunna try and make this email a little better than last week. I know, setting the bar pretty high.


OK so we've been working with our new member Rocio. It's been about a month since her baptism. We've been visiting her pretty consistently. She has told us many times, "so what's next after baptism". She has an awesome desire to know more about the gospel and the Book of Mormon. There is another new member that we meet with decently often. He was baptized about a year ago. His name is Alex. He's 17. He's a stud. He's here learning English while his fam is in Mexico. I think he could use a prayer.


We started teaching some new people. The coolest ones are two kids of the aunt of a member in our branch. We started teaching Charita the aunt, last week and her two kids Natalie and Thaniero this week. We're excited about them. 


We had Zone conf on Tuesday. I was not feeling well at all that day, but it was still really good. President talked about Joseph Smith and all he did to restore the church, and all the sacrifices he made. He never feared man more than God. He was murdered for what he believed in. He and the early saints sacrificed so much. You can read more about them in the book "Saints" on the gospel library app or probably a lot of places. The assistants talked about temples. It was so cool. There is a video that the church came out with is the open house of the new Rome Italy temple. It is so powerful. I'll attach a link. 




I made some delicious guacamole this week. 


There's a member who lives right by us. He gives us food a lot. So this week he hooked us up. 


Had exchanges on Saturday. They were fun. 


So yesterday was interesting. Eloy and his wife came to Church! The only problem for baptism is that he needs to get legally married. So after church we talked to our branch president. He said we need to get a license from the city, then he can do the ordinance and then boom we baptize Eloy. So we wanna get this all done by Eloys original date of July 11th. It might be tight but very possible. So that night we were going to a visit. He texted us and said he was in a work meeting. So we were walking back to the car and all a sudden there was probably 30 kids age 12 and under in the streets. They said they were setting off fire works. So we're like will stick around to watch this. So these young kids are asking us about our dogs and if we are FBI. They are hilarious!!  Then one of the lights this big old fire work. Well somehow it got tipped over and next thing you know we were all running from the meteor shower. I'll attach some videos.
