OK this week was slow and fast. It was pretty normal, then Wednesday afternoon to Friday were slow then Saturday and Sunday were fast. 

Story 1 

We were walking on the street the other day. There was a kid playing in his front lawn. So we said hi. His dad came out and is like "don't be talking to my kid" "I see you as a preditor" "I know this is California but I could pull out a gun and shoot you" he was crazy. 

2 we were on the street one day. This guy came up to us and he's like I just got outta jail, then all the other guys out of jail came up and said hi. They all smelled drunk. Haha. 

So for some cool missionary stuff

So this week we have started teaching 4 new people. Olivia and Eddy (siblings) and Jose (yes another one) and Graciela (soon to be legally married hopefully) please pray that Jose and his friend Steve (15 yr inactive) can stop drinking. He has a strong desire though.

So Saturday we were walking on the street and we had the feeling to go back to this dude who just pulled into his driveway. He and his wife were so cool. They let us right in, he got his all his kids to sit down at the table. We shared an awesome restoration lesson. Then the next day. We were planning to watch church with Jose and his fam but he was working, so unannounced we went over to Jesus (this new guy) unannounced. We knock on the door, no answer. So we just go around back, and he's back there. He let's us in again and gets his kids to sit down and watch church while they had lunch.

Well some people are weird, some are flakey, some are dodgy, some are drunk, some are rude, some are both, but some are SO cool and nice and accepting and appreciative!

There are people ready! Miracles are out there ready to be found.

I challenge you to read John 10:16 and 3 Nephi 15:17 and see how they are so similar - showing that the Book of Mormon and the Bible reference each other and work together. So cool!
