A Christmas To Remember

Hey yall sorry no email last week. P day got moved from Monday to Christmas day (Friday) but we had a lot going on that day so I ran out of time, but here we are. I don't wanna make this 6 million pages so here we go.

Story 1:
The other day we went to this new street to talk to some people. Everyone we talked to said they were Apostolic. Apparently that's a religion. I had never heard of it. They were all on this one street and they all have they meetings in someone's house. They were all a little off. Like one lady like probably made eye contact once in like 20 minutes we talked to her. We were telling and without saying anything she just got up, walked to her backyard gate and disappeared without saying anything.

Let's start with moving day, Friday the 18th. We moved into our new apartment in Moorpark. It's a nice apartment. My comp and I are still living with the ZLs so that's fun. We live in the same complex as the other elders in our district. So there are ten elders (the whole distinct) in the same complex.

Monday we had a fabulous Christmas zone conference!

So for Christmas Eve all of us Spanish missionaries in Thousand Oaks/Moorpark went to Brother Baker's house. We did Gingerbread houses, dinner, and the nativity. It was so awesome!! The Bakers are solid. Christmas day was amazing too! We got up and we did opening the presents that our parents had sent us. The 4 of us in our apartment. So traditional Christmas morning. We then had a district breakfast. We went to a recent converts house at 2 for his birthday. He had a bunch of food for us. We then had a dinner at 5 with a family. It was awesome!!

OK some missionary stuff.

Since being out in Moorpark we have found 9 new people to teach. 1 or 2  have dropped us. Also Fabricios baptism was gunna gaffe yesterday but he canceled it and dropped us. So ya that's a bummer. He just delayed his salvation.
So Christmas eve was the last day of our Book of Mormon in 75 days reading challeng. Let me tell you it was such an amazing, powerful, spiritual, uplifting, fulfilling, knowledgeable experience! I'll be honest. I've read the whole BOM with my family and for seminary before. But this was the first time I have actually read/listened to the whole thing for me on my own. I really feel like I was able to understand who everyone was, how they relate, what they were doing, what was going on, and of course all of the uplifting messages and spiritual strength that the BOM contains. Reading it in 75 days was also helpful because it was quick enough that it kept us reading a lot but not so much where we started to drown out stuff. I love all of the BOM obviously but I love the Book of Alma and especially ch like 43 - 63 is so awesome!! It's the war chapters with Captain Moroni, Helaman and the stripling warriors, and Teancum. These were some outstanding leaders and men of God! These are such good chapters!
Highly recommended!

Othere amazing scriptures I have come across
D&C 68:6
3 nephi 5:13

Well I know this is long. I love you all so much, thanks for all of the emails, Christmas letters/cards, and gifts. I love hearing from you! The church is true and the book is blue.
