Looking Snazy, Church Loyar, RICH PEOPLE!

OK so we'll start with the stories.

1 On Friday Elder Ogden and I were walking around a neighborhood looking for people to talk to. Some guy and his girlfriend walking the other way is like "Hey looking snazzy, very professional"

2 Yesterday morning we get a call from Leo. He said he can't come to church because he's meeting with a lawyer about his legal stuff. The thing is, in order to be babtized the investigator needs 3 church attendances. This was going to be his 3rd and we had his baptism planned for that night. So we called our ward mission leader. He's like OK let me call Leo. A couple minutes later mission leader calls us back. He said Leo and his lawyer are coming to the church to do their legal meeting. So Leo and his lawyer get to the church. Leo invites his lawyer to come join us for sacrament meeting. She's like ya totally. And then they did their legal talk after. There's a cool miracle.

3 We did service on Saturday. We were helping some members move out of their 8 million $ house! Ya you read that right. They origanaly listed it for 14 mil! This place was HUGE! Like racquet ball court, tennis court, supper nice pool with a two story slide that looks like it came right from a resort, a two story library, a music studio. a movie theater area and actual theater, an upstairs with a pool table and air hockey, Random statues and art everywhere, and more. It's in this neighborhood called North ranch country club estates in Westlake California. Look it up.

OK big week!! After about 4 1/2 months of being a missionary I got to go through the temple on Tuesday. The LA temple is still closed so President took us down to Fresno. I had only ever heard the name Fresno from "Monsters VS Aliens", and had no idea where it was. Apparently it's in California about 4 hours from Oxnard. Wow it was such an amazing experience!! My parents came down! That was so cool to see them and walk around the temple with them. I also saw an Elder from my MTC district. And an Elder from my first transfer. It was really good to see them. It was an all day event. I got up at 4:58 am and went to bed later than 10:30 haha. Elder Ogden unfortunately did not get to come with me. Elder Kelson was my comp for the day (another Elder who went through the temple for the first time). Fresno is a pretty small temple but very nice! It was a good day!

Missionary work stuff
---------------------------------
So the other day We were walking around in Moorpark. We went to this house that we have gone to a few times but they just said come back later. So we knock on the door. Like 3 kids come to the door. They said their mom is not feeling well come again later. We ask if we can come say a prayer with her. They go back in to ask their mom. They come back to the door and say yes but right here on the doorstep. We're like well could we Come in and share something brief and have a prayer with your mom. The kids go back in, and come out and say mom said yes. So that's what we did. So we started teaching them.

Edwardos (not ours but another companionships investigator) baptism was on Saturday night, and I hinted at it but Leo's (our investigator) baptism was Sunday night. They both went very well. Everyone who was at the baptism marked their favorite scripture in a Book of Mormon as a gift for Edwardo and one for Leo. That was cool.

Let me tell ya. Missionary work has its ups and downs but the ups always outweigh the downs!

Love you all! I hope you have a great week! Thanks for the emails they have such an impact on me and brighten my week!
