Did You Know Jesus Had A Car?

So let's start with a miracle. So the other day, during planning, we got a call from our branch pres. He said there was a 15 year old who came to young men's but no one could find his records,. Like he was babtized but no one knows when, they can't even guess an approximate year. So pres says they're thinking of just redoing him. Like having missionaries teach and baptize him over again. Pres said that Elder Ogden and I are the ones he thought would be right for the job. 

We had exchanges. So afternoon/evening I was with the District leader and then his comp. The district leader's comp, Elder Gulbrason is supper funny. He likes rap. He showed me a rap he made while on his missh and a rap the two Elders made after their GF left them called "Girls never wait". The district leader Elder Wheeler is a spiritual giant! One person he and I taught that day was awesome. She has a strong desire. She has lots of faith. We asked her to try praying right there in the middle of the leason. It was a great prayer! She prayed for her "new Mormon friends". The spirit was strong with her. 

OK let's get somthin outta the way. 80° is too hot. 90° is misery,  but 110° IS OUTRAGEOUS!!! That heat + hot wind on top of fasting is just hard. Kinda energy draining. 

Yesterday we had 3 visits set up. 2 in the park mid day. Hot right. It gets better. One of them was a no show so ya we waited in the hot park for a while. The park was empty cauz everyone was at home, ac on high, ice creem in hand, and watching a movie. But wait there's more! The next visit was almost a no show, but after like 25 min the member we invited left and then a couple min we got a call from the investigator. He said he would be there in 15. So we waited. When he came the member came back with some waters. Well they where nice to look at. Remember we were fasting. Juan can talk and tell stories 5 ever. So ya like almost 2 hours later we left. The last visit was over video call at 9:30. It took forever but at least we were in our apt.
