Which Prophet Was The First To Go Through The MTC?
Another day another nickel.
So this week kinda flew. Spanish is still tough, but I do feel more confident with it. I talk pretty much every night with our Chilean friend Mario and I even can translate sometimes for my mom. And he says I'm doin just fine. Anyway, Elder Burton and I have taught probably 5 lessons since last p-day in Spanish. Those are going well and I'm actually starting to like them.
On Sunday our stake president invited all of the missionaries in the stake over for some thoughts, questions, and browniecake/homemade ice cream. It was great! I'll attach a pic of us.
My best bud Elder Max Osmand left for Kansas thismorning. I am so proud of him, he is going to be an amazing missionary! He and I have been best friends for a long time. He's always been there for me. I love him like a brother, and I couldn't be more proud of him! I cant wait to see him in 2! I'll attach a pic of us from last night.
So, I like writing my email later on in the day so I can talk about my p day which is always more interesting than the rest of the week. So this is what I did today. I went down a little after 11 to Elder Burton's house. Not long after I got there Elder Jensen arrived. We got to talk for a bit, and then Elder Burton and his dad went down to the airport (Elder Jensen and I stayed at the house because of space in the car) to pick up Elder Baxley. While they where gone Elder Jensen and I talked for a while and then Hermana Mockett came, and shortly after Elder Burton came back with Elder Baxley. We had the whole district together in person! Long story short, we had a great day together! My district is the best! I feel close to them even though we just barely met in person! The MTC is great because it helped me make a few solid friends in a couple of days when before I couldn't make friends for 4ish years. Today was so much fun!
MTC is going well, it definitely has gotten better since my district and our teachers have grown closer. Just like life, there are ups and downs, but during the downs, we need to remember the ups.
Talks: "Be of good cheer and faithful in adversity" - Elder Adhemar Damiani, "It is better to look up" - Carl B Cook

Scriptures: John 3:16 Moroni 10:4 Romans 8:17-18 2Nephi 2:11
